At FOILLBI, we are a family owned and operated business dedicated to bringing the exhilarating experience of e-foil surfing to enthusiasts of all levels. Our 1:1 private lessons ensure that you receive personalized attention and guidance from experienced instructors, making your journey into e-foiling both safe and unforgettable. We also offer 1:2 instructor to student ratio! Learn to fly with your friend, grandparent, child, or spouse!
Our father-daughter team is passionate about sharing the excitement of e-foil surfing with you. Lead Instructor + Director
Hannah is the lead instructor at FoilLBI. She started sailing on Barnegat Bay at the age of 5 and has been doing it ever since! Later, she began instructing beginner sailors and experienced racers alike, maintaining a US Sailing Association Level 1 Instructor status since 2018. In 2022, Hannah earned the US Sailing Keelboat Instructor qualification, which tailored to teaching adult learners in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. In her free time, she is an avid surfer and swimmer. Hannah is also pursuing a US Coast Guard Captain's License to further her professional maritime experience. Her years of experience teaching watersports to all ages and love of the outdoors make her the perfect fit for FoilLBI!!

FounderTom Widmeier is the brains behind team FOILLBI . Tom’s passion for watersports comes from his children introducing him to new adventures as a family sport. He wants to share these wonderful experiences by creating a more accessible environment for everyone to try e-foiling. Tom learned to snowboard at age 50 and learned how to e-foil at 58! His free-spirit fuels the mission of FOILLBI and ensures on-land contact for any needs of the students.
